7月8日一大早。武警济宁支队机关就迎来一群人。他们神色匆匆，迫切想要见支队领导，领头的人说：“领导，请您一定要帮我找到这个战士，我一定要当面见到他！”
这到底是怎么回事？领头的这位叫做韩晁星，7月7日上午11时左右，他因为在济宁市小北湖公园湖边玩水捞鱼，不慎滑入湖中，命悬一线。
当时来往行人有很多，大家都是惊慌失措，奔走呼救。危急时刻，有一名青年不顾个人安危，迅速脱下外衣，跳入水中。这名青年游到韩晁星后方，奋力将他推向岸边，避免了一场惨剧的发生。
当韩晁星被救上岸后想问及这位青年的名字时，他怎么也不说，经过反复询问，他只说了一句平淡的话便匆匆离去——“我是武警战士，这些都是我应该做的！”
韩晁星自己说：“我是家中的顶梁柱，如果不是这位武警战士相助，后果不堪设想，可能我家里的天都塌了。我们全家恳请部队领导帮我找出这位救命恩人，我要当面感谢！”
大家都知道了事件的前因后果，武警济宁支队政治工作处主任董方也第一时间下发通知寻找这位无名英雄，并在全支队对其进行通报表扬，终于，在支队某中队我们找到了他——毛子睿。见到恩人的韩晁星眼眶湿润，他感到穿上军装的那个青年仿佛比想象中还要高大。
“穿上这身军装，这些都是咱应该做的，没啥值得夸耀的！”毛子睿接过“人民卫士、奋勇救人”的锦旗后，换好迷彩服、戴上装具走向了训练场，只留给大家一个坚定的背影。
