大甲鎮瀾宮媽祖遶境祈福，週日起駕，碰上大選年，有意角逐明年總統大選的政治人物，爭相「與神同行」。台北市長柯文哲、前新北巿長朱立倫要跟著大甲媽遶境，綠營總統蔡英文、賴清德，藍營太陽們還有黨主席吳敦義、王金平、高雄市長韓國瑜參加起駕儀式，總統角力提前上演。
人潮滿滿，2015年大甲媽祖遶境起駕，當時還是民進黨總統參選人的蔡英文，首度參與盛事，隔年就成功攻頂，成為台灣第一位女總統；還有2007年，剛卸任國民黨主席的馬英九，也是第一次參與起駕儀式，隔年順利當選總統。

知道韓國瑜也要來鎮瀾宮，粉絲嗅到商機花了10幾萬，在一個月前印製一千件韓國瑜T恤來賣，同樣是韓粉賣得更多元。
高粱酒瓶身用雷射雕刻畫出金色韓國瑜，一瓶能賣2800~2600網路甚至喊價到4千。

大甲媽遶境，9天8夜行程，預估吸引超過200萬人參與，商機高達50億，現場什麼都賣，有韓粉印製韓國瑜T恤，也有人在錢母、鑰匙圈上，印上了韓市長圖案，果然吸引不少人購買，另外，攤販商家、小吃店，也是忙到一刻不得閒，就連公家機關也受惠，中華郵政每年推「大甲媽紀念郵票組」，今年加碼賣1萬組，光賣郵票就能破百萬。

拉開T-shirt，正面是Q版韓國瑜和他的愛犬「0米魯」，背後就是總統府。
業者：「早上就賣了100件。」
衝著韓國瑜，現場就有韓粉掏錢買。
知道韓國瑜也要來鎮瀾宮，粉絲嗅到商機花了10幾萬，在一個月前印製一千件韓國瑜T恤來賣，同樣是韓粉賣得更多元。
高粱酒瓶身用雷射雕刻畫出金色韓國瑜，一瓶能賣2800~2600網路甚至喊價到4千。

錢母、鑰匙圈都印上韓國瑜，趁著大甲媽祖遶境都能分到商機。
記者羅一心：「鎮瀾宮蔣公路擠了滿滿人潮，今年剛好起駕日在星期日，(警方)預估今天將湧入15萬人。」
蔣公路前是小吃攤一級戰區。
胡椒餅店家包餡的手沒停過，店家跟著大甲媽祖跑，一天能賣掉2千多顆，一天進帳8萬~10萬。
賣脆腸和香腸的50年老店攤位前大排長龍，店家備料也是不停追加。
人潮等於錢潮，大甲媽祖財，連公家機關也受惠。

民眾：「我每年都來買。」
千里眼、順風耳、媽祖，全彩印在郵票上，一套6張，中華郵政每年推大甲媽紀念郵票組，光在鎮瀾宮擺攤，去年5千組兩天賣光進帳75萬，今年加碼5千組，總共1萬組，不過攤位這次分散搶購潮，但也賣了400組，如果賣光光媽祖郵票就能賣168萬。
警方預估今年4/7日媽祖起駕日，預估15萬人次湧入，9天8夜的遶境行程，約吸引超過200萬人參與，商機高達50億。
