【星島日報報道】一架由台灣高雄出發往香港的港龍航空客機，疑在空中遭到鳥擊，引擎冒煙，須緊急返回小港機場。客機安全降落，無人受傷。
事發在今早約8時02分，一架航班編號為KA451的空巴A330客機，在起飛後不久，疑在空中遭鳥襲。有附近居民表示，聽到疑似爆炸聲，客機的右引擎更一度起火。據悉，機組人員發現異樣後，已經將右邊二號引擎關閉，其後急降小港機場。大批消防人員在跑道戒備。消息指，事件中無人傷亡。

[Sing Tao Daily reported] A Dragonair airliner departing from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was suspected to have been hit by a bird in the air. The engine smoked and had to return to the small port airport urgently. The passenger plane landed safely and no one was injured.
The incident occurred at about 8:02 this morning. A flight A330, which was numbered KA451, was suspected to have been attacked in the air shortly after take-off. Some residents nearby said that they heard the suspected explosion, and the right engine of the passenger plane caught fire. It is reported that after the crew found the same, the engine on the right side of the engine was closed, and then the airport was suddenly dropped. A large number of firefighters are on the runway. The Dragonair 451, carrying 317 passengers, took off from Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport at around 8:00 am and the second engine on the right side smoked.
