THE family of a toddler, who went missing for about 18 hours, believes there could be a supernatural factor behind her disappearance, Harian Metro reports.
Abdul Wahid Nordin, 52, who is the girl’s grandfather, said: “It is just not logical for a 22-month-old child to have been able to walk barefoot for almost 3km in the jungle.”
He said the family of Nor Aishah Umairah Zamzanuri was relieved that she was safe after being found by two orang asli at a rubber estate near Slim River, Perak, on Wednesday morning.
Except for some scratches on her leg and mosquito bite marks on her body, the girl is in good health.
A 70-member search-and-rescue team had earlier failed to find her.
