‘MJ was just a bundle of bones’
Los Angeles,Agencies :

Autopsy details of pop star Michael Jackson give a horrifying picture of the singer at the time of his death — he was a virtual skeleton as he was barely eating, there were only pills in his stomach. He was bald, bruised and also had broken ribs and needle wounds.

His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years.

And multiple surgery scars were said to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations.

Experts found the distressing evidence of Jackson’s physical decline while investigating his startling death here last week, reported the sun.co.uk.

The examination showed the 5’10” star, once famed for his on-stage athleticism, had plunged to a “severely emaciated” state. It is understood anorexic Jackson had been eating just one meagre meal a day.

Pathologists found his stomach empty aside from partially-dissolved pills he took before the painkiller injection which stopped his heart. Samples were sent for toxicology tests.

Having lost virtually all his hair, the pop legend was wearing a wig when he died and pathologists said little more than “peach fuzz” covered his scalp. A scarred section of skin above his left ear was entirely bald, apparently the result of a 1984 accident when his hair caught fire as he filmed an ad for Pepsi.

Jackson suffered several broken ribs as frantic rescuers pumped his chest after he collapsed in cardiac arrest. Four injection sites were found above or near the King of Pop’s heart. All appeared to result from attempts to pump adrenaline directly into the organ in a failed bit to restart it. Three of the injections had penetrated the heart wall causing damage, but a fourth missed and hit one of the 50-year-old star’s ribs.

Should just give this man a break

People had been probing MJ's private life wanting to expose his vulnerabilities as a human being

Seems nothing will change after his death

I am not his fan but I am starting to feel sorry for his family

Coroner says 'shocking' Jackson autopsy report a fake

Lurid and harrowing details purportedly from Michael Jackson's autopsy report published by a British tabloid are fabricated and completely false, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office says.
London's Sun tabloid yesterday published what it believed to be "shock findings of the Michael Jackson autopsy," including horrific descriptions of the singer being skeletal (weighing just 8st 1oz when he died), bald, with broken ribs, and his body covered in bruises and needle puncture marks.
Quoting the 'leaked' post-mortem results, The Sun said the 5ft 10 singer's body was "severely emaciated" and his stomach contained nothing more than partially dissolved pills.
Earlier reports claimed that Jackson, involved in punishing rehearsals before his 50-date comeback gigs in London, was underweight and believed to be eating only one meal a day.
The shock details from the alleged report also claimed Jackson's hair had fallen out and that his face was covered in plastic surgery scars - believed to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations, the Sun claimed.
The singer also suffered several broken ribs and four injection sites were found above or near his heart where medics had tried to restart his heart with adrenaline, claimed the tabloid.

The newspaper claimed it had obtained a leaked copy of the autopsy report following Jackson's apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday (local time).
But the "autopsy report" is a total fabrication, says the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
"The report that is being published did not come from this office," said Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
"I don't know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false," he said.
The coroner's office conducted an autopsy on Jackson's body on Friday, but later announced that the results were inconclusive and that toxicology tests have been ordered - and it could be a six week wait before the results are in.
Jackson's family has also demanded a second autopsy on the singer because they still have questions about the star's death.

"The [Sun] report did not come as a result of our autopsy, or of the private autopsy," Winter said.
"Our [autopsy] report's not even done," said Winter, adding that no information can be released because "it's on a security hold."

Will
Meanwhile, details about Jackson's will have surfaced. Celebrity news website TMZ.com reports that Jackson revised his will three weeks before his death and hired lawyer John Branca to oversee certain changes.
Online reports claim that more than one will is in existence, one of which reportedly names Jackson's sister Janet as executor of his estate, but TMZ reports that the will in Branca's possession is the most current.
Jackson's parents, Joe and Katherine, are reportedly unaware of the existence of what's believed to be the singer's more up-to-date will. In legal papers filed in a Los Angeles court earlier this week, they reportedly wrote that the singer had died "intestate" (without a will).
Branca intends to file the new will with the court within the next 30 days, says TMZ.

Jackson's father Joe also reportedly suspects "foul play" over his son's death. Speaking to California news channel ABC7, Joe said: "Michael was dead before he left the house (to go to the hospital). I'm suspecting foul play somewhere. He was waving to everybody and telling them he loves them and all, the fans at the gate. A few minutes after Michael was out there, he was dead."
The Los Angeles County coroner concluded last week that Jackson's body showed no signs of trauma or evidence of foul play.
Funeral

At a press conference held at the Jackson's family estate in Encino, California, patriarch Joe spoke for the first time about the King of Pop's funeral plans.

He said that the family is planning a large public funeral for the singer, but that things won't be finalised until the results of the second autopsy are known.

"We aren't ready for [releasing information on the funeral]. We don't have the time frame yet because we want to see when the private autopsy comes out," he said.

Close family friend Reverend Al Sharpton added that plans for the singer's funeral had to be carefully crafted and executed.

"[The Jacksons] gave the world a whole new glow and they must be careful to protect that glow," he said.

Fan backlash

Joe Jackson also defended plugging his record label while on the red carpet at the BET Awards on Monday.

During a live interview on CNN television after the show, Jackson said he wanted to make "a real good statement", while introducing his business partner Marshall Thompson.

"Marshall and I have - we own a record company. Talking about Blu-ray technology. That's the next step," Jackson said.

He was later slated by fans for his apparent insensitivity.

"Now I was asked that question and I answered just like it was asked because they wanted to know what else I was doing," Jackson said at the press conference, before adding that both he and his wife Katherine were happy with the court's decision to grant them interim custody of Jackson's three children.

"[The children] are happy with the kids that they're around ... We have kids back there who are small just like they are. They [were] never around other kids," he said.
Final rehearsals

New photos have been released of Michael Jackson performing during what would prove to be his final rehearsals for his 50-date stint in London.

Days before his death last week, Jackson had been rehearsing with his band, crew and choreographers for the comeback gigs - a series of concerts the singer poignantly referred to as his "final curtain call."

Jackson's longtime pal and manager Frank Dileo spoke about his time spent with the singer while at the tour rehearsals in Los Angeles.

“I was with Michael everyday going to rehearsals – Wednesday and Thursday he was the happiest,” he said on U.S. TV.

“On Wednesday, he put his arm around me at the end [of the day] and he said, ‘Frank, I’ve never been happier. We’re going to make this work... It’s our time again Frank. We’re going to do this!’”

1. this is reality of fame and the price mj paid.
2. the moment mj died, there are scores of people who have invested interests cashing in.
3. well, his immediate family is not far away from it too.
4. if it is true of his weight, honest he was pretty under weight for a 5'10" frame, and there is really something very wrong of his well-being.
5. sad that he went this way.
