I used to think it was a PAP 'patent' to start smearing campaigns against potential opposition candidates.

It seems that there is no copyright in the art of smearing. This GE the opposition seems active in character assassination of PAP candidates.

We see Fu Mee Har and Tin Pei Lin being subjected to continual smearing campaigns waged against them by opposition sympathizers.

When you fight the devil, you end a devil yourself.
