Government used to say core services such as communications, utilities and airbases must be owned by the state! I presume sometimes have to compromise their belief when faced with liquidity problems or operating to their whims and fancies.

Singapore Changi airport taken over by Temasek because the need for more control and falling profits caused by retarded staff that corrupted Changi Airport amid falling tourist count.
Where they get their money, you can only question their practice.

Corporatisation is good thing. If dead wood is found, it can be removed and such a move allows for easier foreign talent employment. If the low morale is generated by deadwood, such deadwood can be floated out of the airport management and services.

i'm actually quite worry that temasek is becoming too rich and powerful
is the govt sensing that they will lose the next electiton, that's why they want to move more things under temasek.
so even if they really lost the election, their man will still be calling the big shots as u can't change the whole team in temasek suddenly right?
