Singapore, 29 June 2017 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced the appointment of Neo Kian Hong as non-independent and non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 June 2017.
Mr Neo is the Permanent Secretary (Defence Development) and has held various command positions in the Ministry of Defence, including Chief of Army and Chief of Defence Force. He was also Permanent Secretary (Education Development) at Ministry of Education until 19 June 2017. Mr Neo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from the University of London, UK as well as a Master of Science (Management of Technology) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.
Mr Neo had served on the Board from March 2010 to April 2013 when he was the Chief of Defence Force. The Board of Directors welcomes him back and looks forward to working with him.
