How can you tell the difference between a dream and reality?
I can only do so upon arising - using that as a frame of reference and compare it to the memory of the dream.
Sometimes recollection is imperfect. This, along with the vividness of the dream makes it hard for us to distinguish between the two.
Maybe the world of wakefulness is also a dream. What is real?
