This ship has no radar minimising features..N seems top heavy which is a no no in warship design.. Guess it's just a normal warship can use n fight a less technologically advanced enemy

Placing the radar at the top allow it to see further but could potentially created stability problem for the ship.

All the warships have radar on top, even cruise liners also have. But their are of correct PROPORTION sizes with the ship itself mah.

Ah Neh either have radar too large or warship too small for that radar, you see?

It is to be on the top correct as you said to have better unblocked coverage views etc.

The SINA news agency says:"The Kolkata-class destroyer is the Indian Navy's latest air defense missile destroyer. That doesn't seems like a normal navigation radar nor even a search radar.
Looks more like a jamming system or perhaps a system for detecting and collecting transmitting frequencies.
