Singapore's Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin has urged local employers to fairly consider hiring people with disabilities. He says country can and should do more to treat people with special needs with empathy and respect.

Most likely the same , must have informed him, that the deaf/mute worked to improve his hearing & speech...:biggrin:

PAP has a long and distinguished history of hiring disabled people, so donch criticize them. Just look at Old Fart. In a wheelchair the last few years of his life, cannot walk without 2 SO next to him to support him, cannot even show up for work, gasping for breath like a gold fish, still they employ him to the tune of Millions $ a year for providing no service. At least this cleaner is doing a job. What was OLd FArt doing? See how generous PAP is towards disabled people?
