She would ask the elderly men out for a drink and a chat.

But Teo Bee Fong, 52, had no interest in making friends. Instead, she allegedly spiked the men's drinks and robbed them.

On Saturday, she was charged with three counts of poisoning with the intent to commit crime. Teo will be remanded for a week.

The police have so far uncovered three cases linked to her.

Spike-and-steal woman pleads guilty to stealing over $100K

An unemployed woman who spiked the drinks of elderly men and then stole from them, made off with property worth more than $100,000 over five months, a district court heard on Wednesday.

Teo Bee Fong, 52, would target men wearing Rolex watches and gold jewellery.

On Wednesday, the mother of two admitted to eight of 18 charges of theft, causing hurt by means of poison, and theft in dwelling.

The court heard that she stole from three men while on court bail for stealing cash and valuables totalling $30,400 from 73-year-old Koh Chong Seng at Fragrance Hotel Waterfront in Pasir Panjang Road on Nov 30 last year.
