Family makes themselves at home on the train, blocking commuters' way

family_makes_themselves_at_home_on_the_train-thumbnail.jpg

STOMPer Isabella noticed a family behaving inconsiderately as the father sat himself down on the train floor, blocking the way of other commuters and minimising available standing space.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I came across this family, who are apparently from China, while on the Circle Line train.

"These pictures were taken at 6.31pm on Saturday (Mar 3).

"The man in the picture was sitting on the floor and blocking several commuters from standing.

"He treated the train as if it was his home.

"These people need to learn proper social etiquette!"

Locusts infest Circle Line. And they breed very fast.

Eh, nothing wrong with making oneself at home while commuting. No seats, sit on the floor why cannot? If stand, also will block. Just walk around lah!

Locals just jealous. Foreigners are able to adapt themselves comfortably and feel at home in an air-conditioned cabin, Singaporeans cannot meh?

Cheers!

I've encountered prams in the trains, but from Ah Neh families.

Occasionally, you would also see large travelling(?) bags.

what will happen if everyone start sitting on the floor ? so should MRT take away all the seat and put tatami instead ?
