First sharing this. Discovered a Japanese Curry chain (no idea why not seen this before) was told by staff here it's in most major malls and around for 4 years. Anyway it's still not too late. Out with my staff today visiting customers I told he I'd bring her to Thaniya for authentic curry instead she asked me to go to a mall for this. It's called Cocoichibanya. Here you go:

There is one outlet at central. You can also choose the power of your curry. Recommend to go for maximum power.

Brothers, theres one at MBK.

But Joe, i recommend this one since you go there often. Isetan Central World, 5th Floor.

Can't remember the name of the restaurant but it's the 1st one from entrance.

Their tonkatsu is simply bestests.

Bro you are absolutely right about the Isetan place and there are so many original Japanese restaurants, could even get the best ramen there. Whoever is reading this and interested please note that we are really talking about inside Isetan which is part of Central World, these restaurants are part of Isetan and not those common ones inside the building but outside Isetan. To be safe take the escalators inside Isetan to the 6th floor (yes 6th floor not 5th) or check out this screenshot from the webaite:

Oh, yeah it's the 6th floor.

I dare say the Tonkatsu at Saboten is more betterer than Tampopo.

Max power pretty hot. Did you know that Coco Ichibanya in Japan charges more for adding spice? (ate some there over summer) In BKK no charge! Not sure what the Singapore branch charges.
Anyway I used to eat there often when I lived in Tokyo and it's slightly different in BKK. But still nice.

Most of the bangkok malls have this outlet. I only ask for the veggie curry set and there is one time i ate it twice for a day.

Hehehe. Curry my favorite food. For me, Japan curry no fight with Hainanese curry and pork chop but 'near near' also can.

Regarding the S3 I bought 2 days ago, decided to use it for another line. Actually beginning to like the big screen. Guess it's a matter of getting used to. Me got old flower eyes liaoz so the big screen is machiam like steroid like that.

OK, S3 voice control quite solid. Tried English, Chinese, Cantonese, Thai and Russian. Even open browser also no need to type anything. Here's the result when I say "sammyboy.com".

Two of my senior elderly relatives will be visiting me as I had not met them for sometime liaoz. So they come to find me.

Turn out the hunt for good accommodation is not easy as need to consider they are senior citizens. Nearly book Siam Bayshore and Rabbit resort as only meters to the beach but afraid old folks cannot take the sea wind. Siam Bayshore also too near to Walking. Next choice is Hilton and Holiday Inn (both with sea view) but relatives also stay in high rise in Sinking land liaoz. Finally book View Talay Villas in Jomtien and the villas are not cheap!

Here's some pics of the villa. Book 3 nights.

Final review of Samsung S3. OK, last review not quite fair cos' did not spend enough time playing with the phone. As an iphone user, found the android interface a little intimidating when first laid my hands on the S3. Also, there are so many different options in the settings menu. Terms and technology I have never heard of. Me not a techie guy so better let the settings set as default. After playing with the phone for a day, find it quite easy to use. Iphone users will need some time to get used to the phone. Almost all the apps on my iphone can be downloaded from the google play store and surprisingly, there are quite many useful free apps. The shop also preloaded with many popular paid apps on the SD card.

The larger screen size also a big bonus but had some minor problem using one hand to control the phone. Gradually overcome this and is able to type with one hand. Google translate is also much better in the android version as it comes with conversation translation option not found in iphone. For those not use to the sudden increase in screen size can go for Galaxy S which is almost half the price.

Only problem I had was with the stupid itune, Reset my iphone and realized my itune did not backup properly. So the samsung software was not able to transfer data to S3. Now all data gone. Will be using S3 with my old sim and iphone with new sim.

Also, a little funny for man to carry a white phone as I never intend to buy this phone for myself. My preference is the solid black color.

Some updates on Hong Sip. Think getting better but seems that the ankles part still a little pain. Knn, first time wear socks when I go to ZZzz. I also turn off the mist on both the fans when I suspect could be the culprit. Hard to determine cos' has been raining for the last 2 weeks. Also switched to whisky instead of beer. Did not eat Lor Ark and Giam Chye (braised duck with salted veges) since the pain came. Knn, quite torturing if cannot eat my favorite supper food.

Small one also help massage a little which I think helps. Wanted to pass her S3 but she don't want cos' buay song as S3 was originally meant for big one. Think have to spend more money again and more old phones recycled to me. :(

YY, booked this because of convenience, as walking distance to my new office. Yes, it's overpriced as 'high season' start liaoz.

Very challenging for me as need to bring the old folks to see the places I don't usually visit and avoid places that I am familiar with. :p
