How does bringing someone to justice for the wrongs that they have caused him do that?
Bad idea! Anwar don't want to lose votes for GE2012 doing that.
Basicaly that is just showing a form of petty aggressiveness with nothing to gain. Similar to LKY suing opposition for defamation. Just a political masturbation to demostrate arrogance. To sue Saifu of framing angers the middle voter who used to vote BN and could consider to vote for PKR this GE.
It would be totally different thing however if you have sufficient evidence in hand to convince the voters that Najib / UMNO / BN instructed Saifu to frame Anwar. This would be a strong dynamite to rock the ballot boxes. And unless you really have it to force Saifu to confess that and testify against Najib, you wouldn't do a petty technical lawsuit to Wayang. When the voters can not see any evidence in support of your claims and would be only turned off by the aggressiveness.
Sodomy II case showed that it was a criminal charge based on essentially allegation of words with strong smell of political motivations. That will work against BN especialy with acquittal verdict. You won't want to bash your own head with the same stick to make allegation against Saifu without solid evidence, and try to incriminate him with allegation of words that seem to be very politically motivated. As opponent of BN you don't want to show votes that you are charector similar with BN, especially voters are mostly sick and tired of rotten BN.
Opposing this angle if PKR could motivate Saifu to retract his allegations and come back to PKR and work as aide to Anwar, it would be a very generious move and show of forgiveness. And with that, you can call upon BN followers & voters to renegate and defect over to PKR. This way you will really shake Najib's ground and give him a GE2012 quake.
