至於<a class="ynwsyq yqclass" href="http://tw.news.yahoo.com/article/url/d/a/111009/2/3077e.html?" id="yui-gen6" title="民主進步黨">民主進步黨</a>參選人蔡英文，李光耀認為，雖然她無法扭轉兩岸關係發展的結局，她會儘量拖慢兩岸聯繫日益緊密的進度，中國大陸購買台灣南部農產品，可能也會慢慢減少。<br />
李光耀說，最令他感到不解的是宋楚瑜。他引述最近台灣的一些民意調查結果說，馬英九和蔡英文競選支持度都在三成以上，而宋楚瑜只有約百分之十五。<br />
李光耀說：「我不明白他為什麼認為本身可以追上另外二人。他所能起到的作用，就是奪去馬英九的選票，比奪走蔡英文的票來得多。」<br />
李光耀認為，雖然中國大陸非常關注台灣的政治發展，但對台灣的總統選舉其實發揮不了多大的影響。他還說，台灣無論是誰當選總統，都難以改變台灣最終將與大陸統一的結局。<br />
對於李光耀的評論，親民黨發言人李桐豪昨天說，「這是他的個人意見，親民黨無從評論。」李桐豪認為這是李光耀對外國政治的觀察，「如同我們也會觀察別國的政治生態，只<b><span style="color: red;">希望新加坡人不會干涉台灣的內政</span></b>。」</blockquote>

The old man will be going soon. But it is clear, the current you is not going to be helpful for the post LKY Singapore. I hope you recognize this and try not to stir trouble then. Of course, if you become useful then great. You are showing clear signs as victims of your time and cannot contribute to a post era regime.

There are just TOO MANY different expectations and goals after LEEgime. Many of which are opposing each other.

The overall picture is a total disarray. No one will compromise.

There is absolutely no absolute datum about what is positive / negative or useful / useless or honour / disgrace or popular / unpopular, nothing at all. Depending on position and angle many may totally disagree. This is expected.

You started off wrong already by expecting me to follow your datum. It will never happen. If we happen to be aligned on some issues, so be it, if not then so be it as well. I will have no consideration to follow anyone or any party. Only the brute will survive the hot acid test.

Hearing this answer, comforts me to a certain extent that there is sanity in you, though you need to improve on your video production, as it makes you lose points. Never get your interviewee to look straight into the camera. Heaven's sake, get a cameraman rather than let the camera roll. I am not asking you follow my datum, so to speak. I accept your explanation as it is true that since everything has been so suppressed for so many years, it is in total disarray. What I am saying is once, the dust settles and we are in constructive phase for Singapore, if you cannot get out of the war mode as a person, let someone do the development in Singapore and move to other issues to fight. You easily have another good 20-30 years ahead of you. Generals and warriors need the wars to live on but suck in administering the state. You should know where I am coming from as you should know your chinese history better than I do. I am talking about after the acid test.

Don't worry. I agree.

When LEEgime bust it is like a pressured bottle of soft drink burst. Droplets goes in different and opposing directions gaining new freedom and space. Losing the bottle's control which pressurised every drop of it within a tight space for a period. This is only natural.

I am said to find that we lack and badly need common grounds to aggregate a reasonable alternative after LEEgime. In GE2011 it seems that only sufferings and foreigners pressure offers common ground to Singaporeans. Far from good enough.
