From what I see, there are 2 studies now: Phase 1 & 2 of Aecom's study and this new study. Phase 1 of Aecom's study has been completed. Before proceeding on Phase 2 of Aecom's study, LTA (probably under Khaw's instruction) is carrying out a commercial feasibility study so that phase 2 (on...

Traffic jams at both CIQs (Woodlands Causeway and Tuas 2nd Link)

Re: Operasi at second link MY to Sg Not surprising. School holidays + new procedures. There are now 2 barriers at passport counter. 1 original barrier at the front of passport counter, and 1 at the back. On average, it probably takes another 10-20 sec per car to go through passport clearance now.

Traffic jams at both CIQs (Woodlands Causeway and Tuas 2nd Link)

Re: Operasi at second link MY to Sg Haha I just spent 1 hr 15 mins to clear, when usually it takes 30 mins on Sats. There's a lot of considerations in immigration clearance, including the no of Malaysian cars, which will affect the flow. But I wont expect you to know the intricacies lah.......

Traffic jams at both CIQs (Woodlands Causeway and Tuas 2nd Link)

Re: Operasi at second link MY to Sg New clearance procedures for incoming car traffic at Woodlands checkpoint. Check boot 1st, before proceeding for passport clearance. This is causing a big jam currently for incoming traffic to SG.

Since this is a public forum, I can only comment that people are free to draw their own conclusions about the standings of Hoi Hup and KSL in their respective countries! Aside to Xebay11, I dont think anything is going to be done to fix Vacanza's entrance. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can freely...

Understand, but my point is that it is not so straight forward for most people to retire in Australia, compared to say JB. Yes Sydney, Melbourne, Perth are great places, albeit expensive for meals. Groceries, cars and houses are relatively affordable. But it will be difficult to move there as a retiree (min AUD 5m for instant PR), and it is hard to move there to work in the prime of one's life.

    Desa Tebrau

U really think Ikano would forsake Aeon Tebrau (with the surrounding huge Tamans of Johor Jaya, Mount Austin, Gaya etc) for Aeon BDO (only BDO and Setia Tropika)? Aeon Tebrau, City Square and KSL are easily the most popular malls in JB, and Ikea would surely be aware of that.
