MACS question. If you first time applied for your MACS in Johor, which means there is entry stamp at JB customs, do you need an exit stamp at JB customs or can just use the MACS lane?

If you watch movies in JB on Wednesdays you get them at RM9 each (but still won't beat TGV Friday offer of 1 for 1 using Citibank card:p). Popcorn not cheap, about RM13. But if you use their movie member card you can accumulate points and exchange then for free popcorn and drinks.:D

How many tickets you bought? At TGV Tebrau I bought 2 tickets for RM17 to watch Dr Strange using Citibank credit card 1 for 1 offer, only on Fridays. Parking RM1.

If less cars going through customs...means ICA will open up the car lanes for bikers to use..yay! Or am I too happy too early?:o

Unlikely for families with cars...it is a hassle coming in with kids on public transport. Serious JB trippers will not mind the increase in cost if it is more convenient and if the jams are really lesser.

The casual JB trippers will likely cut down their trips. But the more serious ones (LOL!) will plan their trips and make it more worthwhile by doing more, eating more, shopping more on each trip.:D

In my view this is most likely a knee jerk reaction from motorists....may last a short while...then slowly the jams will creep up again.

Hard to do that leh....I must "report for duty" at SG/JB Woodlands customs morning 6am and evening 5.30pm...quite hard to siam the bike buildup. Yeah...fumes are bad, especially in the evenings when bikes are going upslope and engines are on...but what I tak boleh tahan is those dudes who can...

I still prefer my current 400cc ride, no point spending money to get another vehicle and leave the other on standby. I not cash rich leh. Bike jams is always sweat one...so I have portable fan attached to bike to cool me down which is helpful.

Mine is 400cc ride, also push until "hair hair chuan"... maybe in 4 years time my bike COE expire will consider downsizing. :p

Thanks for the offer. Do you know what are the rates offered by MC in JB, or in SG? So far I only changed SGD to RM, most recently at Permas Jaya for 1:3, but not the other way round.
