The Overseas Sikhs

The Last Sikh in Afghanistan.
There were thousands of Sikhs in Afghanistan but now only one remains.
Imagine what you would feel if you are the last one
In Singapore in the 1980s there were about 25000 Sikhs in Singapore.
Now I would say there are less than 10000 left.

There are plentiful in Canada

Only 1 or 2 Sikhs are left in Afghanistan. There were about 80,000 before the Taliban came to power.
Sikhs would learn the local customs and language.
Here is an Afghan Sikh now in London singing in Pastho mixed with a little Punjabi.
Who is the last Sikh left in Afghanistan?
Answer: Jaswant (Just One) Singh.

You have not seen anything like this

Life really gets very interesting with the Sikhs around

The Sikh Vaisakhi Parade (Nagar Kirtan) celebrated in Surrey British Columbia Canada where 550,000 turned up.
Free food was served along the route by many many households and volunteers which never ran out.
Even if there were a million present the food would never run out.

'Nagar Kirtan is a Punjabi terms which literally means "Neighbourhood Kirtan". The word "Nagar" means "town or neighbourhood," and "Kirtan" is a term describing the singing of Shabads (divine hymns). The term refers to the procession of Sikh Sangat (Congregation) through the town singing holy hymns. The concept of a Nagar Kirtan is to bring the message of God to the doorstep of the community. It is very common for Nagar Kirtans to take place wherever Sikhs live.

For Sikhs, it commemorates the birth of Khalsa, a community of baptized Sikhs established by Guru Gobind Singh the 10th and last Sikh Guru.

Do the Sikhs achieve this by regurgitating the food so latecomers will have enough to eat?

I am truly gobsmacked! You have enough food for a million Sikhs! Does each person get one grain of rice?
Why donch come and see for yourself.
Obviously you do not know much about the Sikhs

Sikh people really are a blessing to this earth, much respect from an Englishman.

I live about a five minute walk from a Sikh temple, they have always been great neighbours. When the pandemic started and a lot of people lost their jobs, the temple started cooking free meals for anyone who needed or wanted it, all day every day. I have a lot of respect and admiration for them.
