On a bigger context ... Indonesia v Philippines ... both are from the Malay Archipelago ... same Race. One a Majority Muslim while the other Christian. Both progress almost identical.

Islam sounds highly hypocritical since believers are suppose to be extremely pious on earth, yet enjoy all manner of debauchery in "heaven".

Secularism vs Islam. You watch the video i posted, it complains about malays being corrupted by secularism and not being muslim enough. We have witnessed the progressive islamatization of malaysia and singapore muslims for the past 10 years, but they are still not strict enough. Malays are still not islam enough.

No wonder Muslims park their vehicles illegally outside mosques all over S'pore every Friday. They don't care about obstructing traffic because the TP and Certis have been instructed to look the other way since religion comes first. This doesn't apply to churches, synagogues or temples though.

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo went overboard in its denigration of Islam. However, other religions such as Christianity and Judaism, apart from politicians, were not spared from its disparaging satire either. I guess we cannot expect believers of every faith to possess the same level of tolerance, or have the same abhorrence of killing to avenge a perceived wrong.

When you are late by 1 hour delivering grab food to chinks due to prayer obligation, the chinks should not be unhappy with you. They should be more tolerance and inclusive lah.

Charlie Hebdo may have gone overboard in its denigration of Muslims. However, Christianity and Judaism, were not spared from their disparaging satire either. Why then is the level of tolerance among Muslims so low? Why do these militants have so little abhorrence against committing murder to avenge a perceived wrong? Killing is a heinous crime against humanity, and no rationalisation can be offered for the wanton taking of human life.

We cannot expect believers of every faith to possess the same level of tolerance, or have the same loathing of murdering fellow humans in revenge. As guess we know where Muslims stand on this i.e. the ends (stopping cartoonists from drawing) justify the means (murder).

It makes zero sense that allah commanded his believers not to eat pork in this life but allow in the next life. What's the point of abstaining?
