Those terrex are supposr to be delivered on a navy logistic ship. If dontch have, then charter one car carrier just for the purpose.
It's a failure in the army Logistic department. They anyhow call shipping agent ask them to ship the vehicle like it's a normal. Cargo.
Did US army use container vessels to ship weapons and vehicles to war zones? No. They transport it there using airforce or navy ships

It is only news from CNN, which no longer attempt at honesty & impartiality in it's blind hatred of Elected PrezTrump, thus it will do ANYTHING to bring down the Elected President & his team, fooling the naive with numbers plucked out of the air.

The issue lays with the variable value of ε -the price elasticity of import demand AND another variable value of φ -the elasticity of import prices with respect to tariffs.

Such are based upon calculated PROBABILITIES & not actual data.

Thus in order to cut down on probability errors, it would need FAR MORE data for this critical issue of tariffs upon other Nations than what is presumably figures obtained from markets, which means DATA that most common men have no access to, such as data gathered from dedicated National intelligence economic services & even AI from a Quantum processor which would be able to collect & process data from a wide variety of sources in light speed for better values of ε & φ.

My dear Mr Glockman, we are in a strategic location - a Port city with numerous deep water port facillities that any vessel can pass thru & dock, for critical TRADE, that comes from every compass point here for shipments & transhipments. Even Hitler recognizes that back in the 40s... We are not a nobody.

Just to add - the one, regardless if minister or elected member of Parliament who proposed that ALL shipping be confined to the forsaken TUAS landscape,, with taxpayers & revenue in billions spent, SHOULD be reprimanded, for PANDERING to the rich elites whom view the port facilities & honest hardworking workers regardless of race, language or religion or even critically needed workers from foreign shores there as an eyesore

That location is FAR from our Nation, even Jurong Island were Chemical plants are located, It takes even just an hour from Jurong West JUST to enter that forsaken location of TUAS, let alone those whom from the East side which will take even 4hrs just on travelling time alone. With 4 hrs gone, & with the usual 10hrs at such port facilities for income to put food on the tables for loved ones, HOW MUCH rest & personal admin are there left for workers before fatigue comes into play?

Will MOM consider such factors & work out solutions that are beneficial for both employers & employees?

Our numerous ports PROVIDED & CONTRIBUTED to our National revenues, jobs & economy for decades. There is no need to shut down those critical ports that had contributed to our job creation & revenue. Even worse, should the sole Tuas port faces problems, shipping & trans-shipments of goods would be paralysed, even worse still should military conflicts occurs.....

What i don't understand till now is why is Trump not hitting the chicons where it hurts. And that is chicons predatory trade policies. For example, foreign investors have to form JVs with chicons n transfer technology leading to these companies getting eaten up, case in point car industry n now chicons are ahead in EVs n consumer goods production. Wat about google etc being banned from the Cina market? Why these issues not being addressed by Trump?

Yes & help will come. If we get attacked, not only Uncle Sam will come but of course a few others like Israel, UK, OZ & NZ & hopefully Taiwan. Its like a pact for our survival unless you want to go back as communist Singapore, Under Xi, under CCP. Look at HK. Next will be Taiwan.

From what I see, the CCP will not attack SG. They don't need to, they have already invaded/infiltrated SG in other ways besides militarily. Also, no need to look back so far as WW2, just look at the vietnam war when US troops and supply used SG. My hope is, after Trump's four years, the US might return to the status quo and not retain his xenophobic, protectionist stance.
