A disturbing trend in Dubai known as ‘Porta Potty’ parties subjects women to sex acts and a model was reportedly left with a shattered spine, but unwilling participants can be even charged with a crime. Adult star Maria Kovalchuk was left for dead at the side of the road after she was allegedly lured into one of these ‘Porta Potty’ parties during which she may have had to perform sex acts involving human faeces.

The 20-year-old Ukrainian vanished after apparently attending a party at a Dubai hotel that she had been invited to by two men who said they were modelling agents.



Ukrainian Telegraf said Kovalchuk told her mother she would stay with the men for the night, but she then missed her flight to Thailand, encouraging her parents to file a missing persons report.

Ten days later on March 19, her brutalised body was found on the roadside, with Russian media reporting that she had a shattered spine and broken limbs that required surgery. Kovalchuk remains in a critical condition and she is unable to speak - but Dubai authorities say she fell from a height on a restricted construction site.



Dubai police released a statement saying: "Dubai Police confirm that the Ukrainian citizen previously reported missing is currently hospitalised, receiving medical care with her family present. A comprehensive investigation has revealed that she sustained serious injuries after entering a restricted construction site alone and falling from a height."

‘Porta Potty’ parties have become notorious in Dubai, shedding light on the dark underbelly of the city’s luxury influencer scene, and they can pay women up to $30,000 to attend.

THE naked body of a young woman was found in the lap pool of a bungalow in an exclusive Sentosa residential estate yesterday morning.

The body of 24-year-old Li Hong Yan, a China national who is believed to have drowned, was found floating face-down in the pool at the back of the Sentosa Cove house by a maid at about 8am.

Paramedics pronounced her dead over an hour later.

She is believed to have spent the night at the house with its owner, Mr Adrian Chua Boon Chye, after they met at a party on Tuesday evening.

The 24 year old PRC woman Li Hongyan, whose naked body was found lying in a pool at Sentosa this year March was paid $800 to have sex and spent the night with businessman Adrian Chua.

The sensational case made the headlines this year. A Coroner’s Inquiry this morning ruled out foul play in her death.

It was revealed in court that Ms Li met 39 year old Adrian Chua at a Havelock Road nightclub and agreed to have sex with him for $800.

Mr Chua testified in court that he did not use ‘force’ on Ms Li when they were having sex at his Sentosa Cove home and was notified of her death by two Sentosa rangers.
