Advocacy group MPS Palestine revealed that Tan claimed he liked the post “accidentally,” while Balakrishnan has since unliked it but has not responded to why he liked Cheng’s controversial post initially.

The 'malay man' who made that report goes by the name of Mohamed Jufrie bin Mahmood.

If it is the same man who is a FAILED ambitious politican Mr Mohamed Jufrie bin Mahmood (Jawi: محمد جفري بن محمود), then may NO true Muslim followed his failed path.

What was written on a facebook post was only an opinion, a RIGHT of ALL Earth born Humans. With rights comes responsibilities to others sharing our same space. HOWEVER, there was NO mention or even anything that was spoken about religion.

Sadly, Mr Mahmood had INSIDIOUSLY attempted to MIX religion with politics, as he had done before, just as the despicable Hamas had done & the consequences evident to all to see, more so the Palestinians living in Palestine land mass today.

Being pro palestinians or against palestinians whom supported Hamas horrific mass murderous ways, has NOTHING to do with Religion, which even Islam DOES NOT countenance. It is more of a POLITICAL purpose, to serve political interests of con artistes whom grew rich beyond their dreams on Earth thru scamming others & monstrously-other followers & innocent lives....

Even in the life of the LAST prophet Muhammad, in 7th Century, he had acknowledged Jesus & called Christians as Children of the Book (Koran). Children ULTIMATELY WILL grow up, to progress & evolve, as proven since 3rd century thru tumultuous events to build a better World of todays, while sadly, the Arabs did not grow up, but simply grew old, still attempting to relive again in the 7th century, fighting against each other still today for religious supremacy, when True Islam is meant for peace, progress & evolution as taught by prophet Muhammad.

Jesus had said - 'give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, & give unto GOD what belongs to GOD'......meaning a separation between State & Religion. Did Mr Mahmood read the Koran, or just simply cherry pick whatever he choses to fulfill his personal ambitions & glory at the expense of other lives?

HONG KONG, March 28 — Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing’s CK Hutchison will not sign a deal next week to sell its two port operations near the Panama Canal to a BlackRock-led group amid growing pressure from Beijing, the South China Morning Post reported today, citing a source close to the company.


The deal was expected to be signed on April 2, according to the sale announcement made on March 4.

It is understood the situation does not mean the deal has been called off, the South China Morning Post added, citing the source.

CK Hutchison and BlackRock did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.


Chinese authorities have reacted negatively to plans by the conglomerate, while the deal was hailed by US President Donald Trump who wants to retake control of the strategic waterway.


A CK Hutchison unit operates two of the five ports adjacent to the Panama Canal, which manages about 3 per cent of the global sea-borne trade. Panama first awarded the concession to the company in 1998 to run the ports and extended it for another 25 years in 2021.

The telecoms-to-retail conglomerate has been caught in China’s crosshairs in the highly politicised deal with a BlackRock consortium, which includes selling assets near the strategically important Panama Canal. The deal is expected to garner the firm more than US$19 billion (RM84.3 billion) in cash.


Pro-Beijing Hong Kong newspaper Ta Kung Pao said in an editorial piece on March 21 that the transaction should be scrapped as the deal is a “perfect cooperation” with the US strategy to contain China.

Bloomberg News, earlier in the week, reported that Chinese authorities had told state-owned firms to hold off on any new deals with businesses linked to tycoon Li and his family. —
