It's actually a normal wind breaker but the leesigned make it look like halal hood and easy to put on and leemove. Just wear your jacket as per typical jacket and pull it up.

Face seen - easy
Outline of the body not seen - unless you wear other animals husk.
For any loose clothes when the wind blow the human body outline can still be seen.

It really depends on the context and the intention. A hood might cover the hair, but it doesn't hold the same religious or cultural meaning for many who wear the hijab.

I seldom see Malay girls these days w/o the hijab, but it was refreshing to see 2 recently at Downtown East. Some of these Malays girls look attractive with make-up and w/o that hideous head covering.
