Rats at Beauty World food centre: Customers complain of dirty conditions, hawkers defend pest control efforts

The PAP regime is going to 'revamp' that place and let one of its F&B cronies manage that hawker centre.
 
New York has 8 million residents, and 5 times that number of rats. S'pore has 6 million people spread out over a smaller land area; imagine how many rodents we have with all that food waste that is generated.

prob too many owners and cannot agree on a price. there will always be one or two greedier ones that want to hold out for a "better" price or the later owners that bought at a higher price and cannot make the "big gain" they thought they would get. enbloc will take years
