There is no need to twist REALITIES on facts to support your misguided trusts on tyrants.

No matter how good Gaddafi was, he was a tyrant, based upon sworn evidences BY his people under his rule.

There was NO Rule of Law in Libya. The only rule is whatever the Ruler mouths upon the moment he wakes up, either with a good sleep or a bad sleep.

There were reports that he disguised himself as a pauper, to seek medical help, but saw a sick old lady whom was turned away by the very medical system he spent oil funds upon, just because she had no money to pay for medical help.

His reaction was to reveal himself & then fired those whom failed & pay that lady's medical costs.

There are more many incidents as such, even in sports whereby those whom failed, had even their lives taken away.....Worse - one of the final straws that broke the camel's back was when he, aloof, fabulously rich, along with his spoilt family, proclaimed he would rather be a leader of docile & uneducated Africans, the very ones whom his ancestors had captured & sold as slaves, rather than to lead his own always complaining citizens when he had NOT even bothered to look at his mirror for the mistakes he made....

The thing is - why micromanage? His foolish endeavors may had saved one for propaganda purposes to elevate his worth, but what about the many more other citizens when he was not around to make a decision? Do they not count?

No matter how he presumed that he is an enlightened or horrifically a Divine person, the reality is that NO mortal is perfect. It takes a TEAM & agreed upon laws for sustainable & peaceful living after honest discussions & debates, for all to make any civilization progress & regulations to work & to be enforced, and such lays in Democracy & its valuable institutions.

He failed miserably in not establishing such, perhaps living in an ivory tower & presumed himself a genius, & thus Libya became a failed state, ripe for revolution, not by others, but by citizens themselves....
