Yes a divorcee macik acquaintance of mine told me this:

1) Ex-husband wanted another wife.
2) She said no.
3) Refused to sleep with him.
4) He cursed her, called her a prostitute etc and beat her up.

Moral of the story: no need for mythical angels, they were going to do the cursing and 'punishing' all by themselves. :cool:

P.S: She is a workaholic, her mother and kids are in Australia now, she visits them every now and then.

She can disagree to be sharing her husband, but she cannot refuse her husband's requests for intimacy without valid reasons.
Islam allows her to ask or seek a divorce.
In the end the husband probably ends up with a prettier new wife, while the makcik have to slog the rest of her life while her orifices remained unused and turning into a prune.
Don't ever believe that crap that women are happier without a man.

Nowadays living a single life is more blissful.
Islam cannot dictate anything. It's not a living thing. People who control Islam makes the rules.
Makcik will be judged by her deeds. Not allowing husband another wife or have sex has nothing to do with good deeds. It's not stated in any holy text that sex is a matter of heaven and hell.
