Koji Ryu, drummer and vocalist of rock band "C-C-B", died of
a cerebral infarction on the 14th . He was 60 years old. The death was announced on his official website on the 18th. The funeral was held by close relatives. A farewell party is planned for a later date.
In 1982, he formed the band "Coconut Boys" and was in charge of drums and vocals. In 1985, the band changed its name to "C-C-B" and had a big hit with "Romantic ga Tomaranai". After the band broke up in 1989, he worked as a solo artist.
According to his official website, he had been hospitalized since the end of July to treat his chronic
diabetes .
