bahasa 101. kebaya: blouse; sarong: skirt. they wear shorts underneath the sarong. in case of emergency they can remove the sarong. i would prefer they remove both sarong and kebaya in a non-emergency.Why wear tight kebayas when it will probably hinder movement in case of emergencies.
Probably a truly smart millennial not like those act smart old fogey.most likely a gay fag complaining there are not enough sq hunks for him to masturbate to in the ad.
With such a dated and sexist Singapore girl image, it doesn’t fit at all with real Singaporean women now. Honestly do you want your daughter to do this SIA air stewardess job?Or it could be a past 30s overweight woman who is too lazy to put in the work to look like air stewardess.
I guess it’s a natural progress as people evolved. It’s a good thing to grow this kind of awareness of diversity. If not sexist thinking will actually permeate a company culture and is a bad thing in the long run.I don't quite get this sort of new age everything must have diversity and inclusive and make sure it is "balanced" concept peddled by so called progressives. Every company has its selling point and marketing strategy, SIA for better or worse chose the SQ girl as its mascot. The SQ girl is portrayed as someone with warm hospitality, sophistication and sincerity which appeals to travelers of any sex.
How would showing a businesswoman working on spreadsheets help to convey this message? In fact a real accomplished businesswoman probably doesn't even have time for this crap of analyzing whether there are any male stewards or if the spreadsheet person is male or female.

Do you mean something like this:bahasa 101. kebaya: blouse; sarong: skirt. they wear shorts underneath the sarong. in case of emergency they can remove the sarong. i would prefer they remove both sarong and kebaya in a non-emergency.
The sexiest (or most "sexist", if you prefer) airline TV commercial I've come across so far is the one by the defunct Russian low-cost airline:
Need to be wife or daughter of someone.Singapore's management teams should take their cue from Star Trek series, Executive roles are more and more offered to females and visible minorities. In Singapore, if one is a minority, or non-male gendered, career climb is non-existent. Unless if one wants to be president. But there is only space for one
Cheers!

I wonder how will SIA management take it being compared to these low class airlines that exploit women lolAre you saying SIA should be compared with these low class airlines that exploit women to make money?
