1. No spam.
2. No graffiti.

As owner of the forum, I decide when the limit has been reached. Someone has to be in charge or this forum would be full of Viagra adverts, cheap loans, NLF jersey ads, porn links, etc.

Before I do anything, I make a polite request. "Please stop posting _________ or I will have no choice to take action"

If I am ignored, I will ban, transfer to rubbish heap, delete account, delete all posts etc.

However, I will never take action against an opinion expressed even if it is in broken Singlish so articulation is not the issue. Anyone is free to voice whatever opinion they want about me, the government, some other member, a religion etc.

So let's be clear about this. There are laws here too, set by you. Let's not pretend there is freedom of expression for everything and everyone. This is a facade and myth that needs to be clarified. IMHO, it's acceptable since you are the forum owner.

The second point is that if you or anyone else are not an impressionable sinkie, like some Chinese Helicopters, you would realise that the posts from some of those cunts who can articulate a little better having gone to Oxford on a government scholarship, are no different from spam, grafitti, rubbish, shit, etc. Don't be so easily impressed by a few carefully strung together sentences and big words. What the manipulative motherfucker is spewing is still no better than repetitive shit.

I operate this place no differently from a country which practices freedom of expression. There are laws in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark which place limits on public behavior too and these countries are about as democratic as they come.

If I imposed a rule that said.. "you cannot say anything derogatory about the PAP or criticize any of the ministers", that would be limiting free speech.

If I say, "if you want to criticize the PAP, do not use RED size 7 bold fonts in every single post", that is not limiting free speech. That is simply trying to keep the forum neat and tidy.

You obviously still don't understand what the term means. I'll leave it at that. I can't be explaining the same thing over and over again.

You suggested I sell the forum. I'm not going to do that.

However, I would like to say that running this forum is no fun anymore. It's a chore which I don't look forward to. There are days when I wish I'd never started it.

Perhaps I'll give it away to a good home to spare myself the daily grind of keeping it up and running. Big Sexy would be first choice. He has sacrificed a lot of his time and effort behind the scenes especially when I've faced technical hurdles and DDoS attacks.

Most have only offered snide remarks like "Sam did not pay his hosting bill" blah blah blah when the forum goes down. Big Sexy has come to my rescue every single time. For that I am truly grateful.

If you hadn't realised it yet, one of the reasons why I suggested you sell the forum to that cunt is so that you can cash in and will not be involved in any further trouble. You should also know that while I'm a longtime regular and was happy to donate to your forum and you, I'm now indifferent to its continued existence mainly because of that motherfucking cunt.

i would like to thank you personally for voicing this out. that fucking screwball deleted many of my threads and postings last time. the one which i did on CHINATOWN HAWKER FOOD which is an informative about sharing the food stalls that my li'l brother leetahsar intro me to was completely wiped out by that motherfucker!

now i try to re-trace the food stalls b4 i m exiled to USA....but hell!! i learned from LTS that all those were deleted by the shithole screwball.
