An increasingly common occurrence in increasingly cosmopolitan Singapore : alteractions involving foreigners versus foreigners. This incident, for instance, inevitably brings up mixed feelings within local Singaporeans, for several different reasons.
For one, feeling the squeeze and increasing frequency of conflict with foreigners, we can ironically empathize and sympathize with both the caucasian guy and the china guy! Of course, both of them feel entirely victimized by the other guy, and are understandably indignant.
And it's not just xenophobia or racism. There have been (with dramatically increasing numbers of foreigners entering Singapore in recent years due to changes in government policies) increasing frequency of incidents involving altercations between locals and foreigners, and now between foreigners and foreigners.

Let's be honest about this. Both groups go around thinking that they own the roads in Singapore. Both China bus drivers and Caucasian cyclists behave like thugs on the road. Of late, both groups have been behaving arrogantly and beating up innocent and elderly Singaporeans. Personally, I say like them fight with each other and Singaporeans should stay out of it.
