It's good to know that WP is able to attract good and credible people. To any decent Singaporean, the pap name has been tarnished the last few years. It is likely to get worse for the pap in the next few years

Nothing is safe. PAP or Opposition. But I don't think the FT programme will be repeated on the same mad scale it had been in the past, although it will not be totally stopped. It is too great a political cost to the ruling party to continue it the same way it had in the past.

It's good that PAP cadres are waking up and leaving the party

But the Oppostion Parties must be discerning and not take in ex PAP people too trustingly because these can be spies sent to create distrust and break up the Opposition party from within. They can create havoc and sow disharmony within the party

They don't need to use ex-PAP chaps to spy for them. Who do you think are the ones doing the job now? The very same chaps will continue.

Agree. But then again, the political reality in S'pore is that when that "awesome man" relinquished his title as PM in 1990, he never relinquished the powers that go with it. So whatever he may be called, he's still in charge till this day, this very hour, this very minute. He effectively is the Emperor. All others, from PM downwards are his subject.

Not necessarily so, from my experience. Having too many may lead to accidental tripping and exposure. It is not like $$$ - the more the merrier. Or women.
