加冷河今早（5月8日）出现两副漂浮的棺木，附近业者指出，疑有殡葬业者从国外运回遗体，换了棺木后弃入河中。
位于文庆路上段第15座附近的加冷河道上，今早出现两副打开了的棺木，随波逐流，让晨运或出门上班的公众感到诧异。
《新明日报》记者接获读者通报后前去查看，看见两副无盖的棺木漂浮在河中央，其中一副的内部由金属制成，看上去有污渍。

居民李小姐（35岁）就说，一早看见原本平静的河流上漂着棺木，让她感到纳闷不解，同时也觉得这样子对往生者不敬。

其中一副棺木内是金属制，还印着运输标签。附近业者：疑运回遗体 换棺弃河中
另一居民何先生（26岁，电玩业者）也说，浮棺并不常见，或有不祥之意，但他不会去多想。
这段河流的上游就是许多寿板店所在的芽笼峇鲁，记者走访了解情况，受访业者指出，漂浮的棺木上贴有运输标签，相信是从国外进口的。
不愿具名的业者指出，往生者遗体从国外运回国，通常会使用类似较为简陋的棺木，回国后换到别的棺材入殓，旧的棺木就没用了。



业者相信，这两副棺木可能是在这种情况下被遗弃在河中的。
