LOL..PAP LEEders and PAP LEEches. one for the MONEY and two for the BLOOD. Poor Singaporeans, emptied and dried - the consequence of giving in and taking one-time peanuts and unhealthy sweetened goodies.. When are Singaporeans going to realise that all baits come with hooks at the end?

Singaporeans deserve what they want & they got what they wished for...must never complain, must enjoy.

Peanuts and sweetened goodies are gone. In fact, the roofs over their heads are also going to be gone. It's ENDjoy now. I believe they have come to realise the good, the bad and the ugLEE. Offer them a ribbon to tie on their fingers, to remind them not to make the same mistake again.

Chomp Chomp got what nice food to eat?

Last time....Wantan mee, right at the left far end, the Malay Stall Satay, Satay Bee Hoon ( after "UPGRADING" food DOWNGRADED), the Fried Hay Mee, one from the lady with the painted white face ( from Lim Ah Pin Rd Old Market, demolished), & the other served by the elderly rory polly lady ( estimate waiting tine 45 mins, hungry, don't order), the old man Fish Soup, in the front ( stall is gone, after UPGRADING, Old Man could not afford rental, up apron), Fried Carrot Cake ( now chop carrot cake..ha ha), the deep fired sting ray etc...first stall on the left, a stall that once sells noodles from Penang...the Dessert Stall, somewhere inside...

Now...most " CHOP CARROT HEAD STALLS"....even the Satay Mee Hoon... the gravy so watery, you think, it is from the drains somewhere...

John Tan is only obsessed with Ramen,,he keeps promoting hawkers to sell that due to high profit margin

Hawkers should either charge $10 for bak chor mee, or switch to selling pasta and raman. Those non-sinkie type of noodles have a much higher profit margin.

If charge at 10 bucks,,who the hell will eat? Unless got lobster etc good quality ingredients and good value maybe can consider, And selling ramen and pasta on paper is a good idea due to the higher margins,,,singkies dont eat ramen and pasta every other day,,those are like once a week or once a 2 week consumption,,,for char kway teow,,,there are ppl who eat it 3 times a week,,,and real ramen,,is not easy,,,,the ramen in singkieland is the cut corners version,,,pasta also same,,,there are handmade ones which is the authentic one,,not those pasta mania cut corners crap,,

This is a higher quality seafood sinkie pasta that cannot sell for more than $5 per plate simply because it is marketed as 'hokkien mee'. This very same dish would sell for $15 if it was sold under the name of 'seafood pasta'.

with minimal effort,,no need cook etc,,,but the skill is making the coffee
very tough to run atas cafe and hire good baristas and keep them. moreover rent is the killer. coffee margin cannot make up for the shortfall. best is to kiss pap arse and get a kopitiam korner at hdb eatery and sell drinks including beer for uncles and their mei meis at night. highest margin is in canned, bottled, packet beverages.
