Yes, Mr Tracy, the fake chee bye and fake anti-pappies.![]()
if everyone who can, packs up, who is going to fight for the average Singaporean?
i choose to stay
Probably he jumped floor as he had tons of money in CPF but could not get it out. Got money, can see, cannot touch. Getting old, no money, no wife. Jobs aplenty but foreigners got it first. Poor health, no money to buy tonics, to pay doctors. Since life so rotten, might as well die. If pappies allowed CPF withdrawal, he might not have jumped floor.
You are young. Can stay. Have time.
I am going to be ah pek soon. No time!
again you reveal your ignorance.
how do you know SG suicide rate is low when the pap refuses to tell us the true figures?
on my part, pap's refusal implies that it is not proud of the suicide figures. if the figure is flattering, the pap will be blowing its own trumpet
Do you have evidence that the coroner is faking the suicide figures? If you do, please share it with the rest of us.

Please also point out at which point in the process the numbers are altered.

This is about as close as I can get to the truth:
"THE number of suicides hit a 20-year high last year, with the most significant increase coming from people between the ages of 20 and 29. According to the latest statistics, there were 467 suicides last year - nearly 30 per cent more than in the previous year - raising the national suicide rate from 8.13 per 100,000 resident population in 2011 to 10.27 last year. While experts were unable to attribute the spike to any one factor, psychiatrist Ang Yong Guan noted that suicide depended on the interplay of three factors: the problems one is facing, one's personality, and the coping skills and resources available. "Difficulties in coping with stress and a sense of helplessness must have driven them to suicide," he said. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/breakin...it-20-year-high-20130713#sthash.W73OvELB.dpuf
Regardless of the trends, the fact remains that Singapore's suicide is low relative to countries such as NZ, Switzerland and many of the Nordic states which have cradle to grave welfare.
This shows that the PAP isn't causing as much misery as other governments.
agree that i hv time
but what u hv are experience and wisdom which u can help many singaporeans.

Thank you for your kind comments. In my case, experience plenty. Wisdom average only. One need not be based here to do the needful. Can always be far away.
You are in the prime of your life. It is all in the mind.
no one is able to get any reliable figures. what figures do you have and from whom?

The SPF have the figures. All suicide cases are attended to by investigators. Commander and key officers of that land div are briefed the next morning. Coroner's Inquiry is the last step. So, records are available.
You walk the streets of sinkapore ...how many sinkees do not look weary?
Stats lie.
