Don't get tricked. Last week they also have 50% discount storewide and I went to their SUNTEC store since I had also wanted to do my banking at the Standard Chartered Bank there, as well as the light traffic and parking due to the F1 road closure. At the end, those goods available for sale are only the leftovers with more than 4/5 of the store being closed and barricaded.

I walked past the one in Plaza Singapura yesterday.....empty and doesn't look like still doing business

Wondering if they still got safe on sales. Need a place to keep my porn collection.

What I saw last Saturday at the SUNTEC store was only some canned foods (some dented), cakes and croissants, printers, cooking oil, cosmetics and minute amounts of leftover frozen stuffs.

Top floor at Suntec mostly botak, don't think there's anything left.

Don't think there's much to remember, most shelves are cleared and a big portion of the suntec carrefour is not opened to public.

Suntec is not the same as before.

Sizzler is gone, Tony Roma had to move to a small joint, and the drinking joints are all gone.

I am interested to find out what's replacing Carrefour at Suntec? That's a lot of retail space in two floors.

It had better not be another NTUC Fairprice.

I remember Suntec City was all the rage back in the late 1990s. It was new and fresh, just like the gigantic HMV music store that was at Heeren Orchard.

Also the time when everyone is transitioning from pagers to mobile phones, and when the Titanic movie came out.

Have you ever read about NTUC taking over retail space from others?
They only enjoy choice retail space and leave the shit to others. In fact, Carrefour had to take over NTUC lost making space at Plaza Singapura.

The upcoming vacant retail space will be difficult to fill especially in the current economic climate. May be just boarded up.
