This Sun bird you guys mention is our national bird. Have any of you chaps seen it in public before?

According to Wikipedia. SG National Animals = Merlion, Crimson Sunbird and Peacock Bass. WTF!!!

How come no Lion or Orang Utan(Think Ah Meng).

someone must be pulling a fast one. The Peacock Bass is a cichlid fish indigenous to South America. It was introduced into our reservoirs years ago.

First, you're a real dumbass to scold an 8-year old dumbass. Served you right to be scolded back dumbass by an 8-year old kid.

Then, the answer is Singapore has no official national bird after series of various birds were tried on currency note series and nobody gave a damn or made a decision.

Last but not least, Singapore national flower is not just any orchid. There're many types of orchids just as there're many types of cats. It's Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid.

If you want a Singapore national bird now, the best qualified are the ubitiquous crows raiding hawker centre tables, leftovers, rubbish bins and kitchen windows.
