Woman jailed for cheating cabbies of mobile phones

A woman who used the phones of taxi drivers and then disappeared after that was jailed a total of five months on Wednesday for criminal breach of trust and various other offences.
Wong Yee Fong, 35, who faced 26 charges, admitted to four counts of criminal breach of trust, two counts of cheating and one each of theft and fraudulent possession.
A district court heard that Wong, who was working in a spa, was a passenger in the victims' taxis when she used their phones on the pretext of talking to her maid or to a customer in October 2011.
When they were not paying attention, she would walk away.
