A young woman who was part of a vice ring pleaded guilty on Monday to grievously hurting a Caucasian customer and drug-taking.

Nur Azilah Ithnin, 20, then a student at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Central, is the first among the five to admit to her charges.

She was with Malcom Graham Head, 33, his girlfriend Veronica Patricia Rio, 19, Ahmad Habiibul Hakim Assalafi, 19, and his sister, Nuurul Aliyyah Abdul Talib, 23, when they punched French product line manager Didier Moise Dominguez, 53, causing him facial fractures, at his Marina Bay Residences home on March 4.

The accomplices' case is pending.

A district court heard that Azilah befriended Head and Rio earlier this year through the siblings, whom she had been close to since secondary school days.

The Frenchman planned a night of pleasure with a local prostitute, but was attacked by five people in his own home, and sustained a broken jaw and a black eye, among other injures.

A court heard yesterday that Mr Didier Moise Dominguez, 53, arranged online for a callgirl to visit his Marina Bay Residences flat on March 4 this year.

But there was a misunderstanding over whether anal sex would be provided - Mr Dominguez wanted it, but Nuurul Aliyyah Abdul Talib refused, even though the advertisement he had seen online said she offered "anal service".

The 23-year-old called one of her pimps, who was nearby, for help. He arrived with her younger brother, who had been assisting the pimps. Another pimp and a friend of the prostitute got there later.

Together, they attacked Mr Dominguez, who had to be warded for four days for his injuries.

Aliyyah's friend, Nur Azilah Ithnin, 21, pleaded guilty to a charge of voluntarily causing grievous hurt and another of consuming methamphetamine. She will be sentenced on Sept 23.
