Teen charged with robbing 14-year-old of $7,000

A 17-year-old was charged in a district court on Monday with robbing a 14-year-old student of $7,000.
Oh Ting Rui is said to have committed the offence together with a 15-year-old friend at 2.30am on Aug 20 near Block 554 at Woodlands Drive 44.
If found guilty and convicted, he could be jailed between three and 14 years and caned at least 12 times.
The alleged accomplice will be dealt with by the Juvenile Court and could be placed under probation or ordered off to the Boys' Home.
