The owner of the stall had shown & proven his empathy towards those whom are hungry. He or She deserves our respect, as fellow Humankind....

Unfortunately, such a displayed signboard will only invite the greedy & even the unconscionable rich, whom had proven to NOT ONLY TAKE ADVANTAGE of others goodwill, but will even do it out of spite, to prove to the owner that he/she is a FOOL, as they being unconscionable, had perhaps been kind in the past but taken advantage of by others & thus their mean spirit - misery loves company, to teach others to do the same like them, & it will be a sad World to live in....

The simple & basic GOLDEN RULE of Humanity is to not do unto others what one does not want others to them....

The stall owner do have overheads to bear - rental, labor costs, food costs, etc. No matter how rich one is, one alone cannot provide for all, even if a billionaire. Biz enterprises are NOT charity orgs...

It was in goodwill that the stall owner put up such a signboard. Many whom have empathy & follow the golden rule will not take advantage, but others will. At the end of day, if too much of free food is given up, the stall owner will not only lose his investments & to close shop, but also the funds to keep supply chain & labor sustainable, & CRITICALLY, his/her lost in faith towards Humankind.....

Perhaps he/she can set a LIMIT to how much free food he/she can give out, to help the less privileged, perhaps 20 persons a day.....He/she just need to work out the sums PRAGMATICALLY in order to follow up on his/her empathy towards Humankind, to be sustainable for the long run....

It is just like the CDC vouchers. Although I received them, I hardly use them & would rather that it return to the National Treasury, to again give out the balances to the others less privilege, so as not to leave any of our fellow citizens behind....

At least there are good people in neighborhood who is will to help the less fortunate ones. Good Job.

BTW, is the shop own by Cina, CECA or AMDK?
Not sure who is the owner of the soup and sandwich place, because I have not patronize it, since it opened for business many years ago. They have one or two Paid it Forward receipts. None on most days.

The Sharwarma place indicated Syrian cuisine. They have 6 to 10, may be more, Piad it Forward receipts. Rarely without any taped on the glass window.
