Serial bicycle thief nabbed

POLICE have arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of stealing bicycles from Hougang and Kovan MRT stations. Since October, the police received a series of reports of bicycle theft at Hougang and Kovan MRT stations.

Last Friday, police staged an ambush at Kovan MRT station and managed to catch the suspect red-handed. A 20cm long cutter was found in his possession. The suspect was charged on Saturday.
