Police arrest suspected molester

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 59-year-old man who is suspected to have outraged the modesty of a female passenger on board a public bus.

Police said that on early Tuesday morning, the suspect molested a 14-year-old female student was travelling on a bus.

The victim immediately alighted from the bus and lodged a police report. Officers from Bedok Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and follow-up investigations to trace the suspect.

The suspect was arrested on Friday in the vicinity of Bedok North Road. - CNA/ac
