Hadi describes current situation 'dangerous' as it is governed by those influenced by non-Muslims

SHAH ALAM - Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang describes the current situation in the country as "dangerous" as it is governed by a group influenced by non-Muslims.
He said this situation arises when society is divided, leading to a government dominated by non-Muslims due to the lack of participation from Muslim voters.
"The Muslim community is in a very weak position to fulfill duties according to the pillar of Islam. The failure to fulfill this obligation has previously led to severe consequences of Israel," he said in a Facebook post, today.
Furthermore, Hadi said there is ignorance within Muslims who do not understand the teachings of Islam.
"They argue that voting is not obligatory, claiming that there is no explicit evidence in the Quran and that it was not practiced during the time of Prophet Muhammad," he added.
He said the practice of democracy originates from the West, not from Islam. Therefore, they do not care to go and vote without realising the consequences of not voting," he added.
Meanwhile, the Marang MP said those who do not vote are as if surrendering themselves to the "enemy".
"They continue to pursue the secularism inherited from the colonial era, under the guise of Malaysian Malaysia, which erases the role of the nation adhering to Islam.
"We are witnessing a unity government of those who lack faith and morals, consisting of criminals, corrupt individuals, and deceitful people with no religious beliefs or moral values.
"They are further surrounded by silent devils who remain quiet in the face of the injustices happening before them," he said.
