Nine suspects arrested for vice activities in Orchard

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested nine people - seven women and two men - around Claymore and Orchard Road for suspected involvement in vice activities.
They were arrested during a five-hour operation conducted between June 13 and 14.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Tanglin Police Division and the Criminal Investigation Department as part of the police's continued enforcement efforts against vice activities.
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.
If convicted, they could each be fined up to S$10,000, and jailed up to five years.
