To nab a jaywalker is the last thing a law enforcer should do, rather they should concentrate on more serious offence.
For all we know we would be fined for standing. next time.

We are very very good when it comes to putting on a show ! Traffic Police no exception . THe HEAD of TP , calls himself Commandant , I was told, and his senior assisstants should get down to the ground , perhaps in civvies , to check out the comments made above this post. No point talking about the problems we face every day and nothing done , yet collect fat salaries and bonuses beyond the imagination of the common folks. Vehicle drivers are not supposed to cover their sides of the windows to conceal identities . We seeeee more of them nowadays. Do nothing about these offences and we will try to break more rules for the nation to go to the dogs !

Police should also keep an eye on Orchard Rd, in front of lucky Plaza and Wisma Atria. It's a free for all every few minutes as pedestrians dash across 5 lanes and trample on the sidewalk plants to climb onto or walk out of the walkway. Sometimes they miscalculate their timings and gingerly stand on the broken white lines as vehicles zoom by.

Instead of motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, etc shall follow the rules, but seems TP was to be balmed. I see some of the comments from violators when they were caught for not complying with the traffic lights signal, such as there was no vehicles so I crossed. Can a motorist says that, there is no pedestrians and no vehicles, so I do not need to follow traffic lights signal and just proceed?

It is the responsibilities of the TP to enforce Traffic rules...if there is manpower problem...it is the Top Brain's responsibilities to come out solutions to meet the demands and manpower shortages should never be an excuse of not enforcing the laws! Now that we see some enforcement on Jaywalkers rules (hope is not a one time show)...how about the massive cyclists on the footpaths issues, motorised bicycles on the road /footpath issues, and many other non enforcement issues?
