Man charged with molest

A MAN was brought to court on Monday for molesting a 22-year-old woman at a carpark in Tampines. Koh Seng Yong, 23, is alleged to have squeezed the victim's buttocks at the carpark of Block 807 Tampines Avenue 4 at about 8.15pm last Friday. He was remanded at Bedok police station for a week for investigation. Last Saturday Toh Boon Cheong, 49, was also remanded after he was charged with touching a 14-year-old's girl's private parts along a walkway of Block 303 Choa Chu Kang Loop last Thursday. His case will come up again on Friday. If found guilty, each can be jailed for up to two years or fined or caned or received any combination of such punishments.
