Man charged for head-butting another

A 57-year-old man has been charged for head-butting another at the Family Court in Havelock Road on April 21. Than Foo Pao allegedly hurt Mr Chong Fook Long, 55, in the face outside Courtroom 1 that day. It is believed that Than also behaved in a disorderly manner by shouting inside the courthouse.
Than told a district court yesterday that he will be claiming trial. He will be back in court next Tuesday. If convicted of voluntarily causing hurt, he could be jailed up to two years, fined a maximum of $5,000 or both. Shaffiq Alkhatib
