SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a woman and two men for their suspected involvement in loanshark harassment.
The first case involved the arrest of a 41-year-old suspect in the vicinity of Hougang Avenue 7, on Monday.
Police said mobile phones with suspected debtors' records, a marker and a can of paint were found in her possession and seized as case exhibits.
They said preliminary investigation indicated the suspect is a guarantor and had committed more than 10 cases of loanshark harassment by splashing paint and scrawling loanshark-related graffiti on the walls of debtors' units across the island.
Separately, police on Tuesday arrested two men for loanshark offences.
Police said preliminary investigation indicated the two suspects had earlier committed loanshark harassment by splashing paint and scrawling loanshark-related graffiti in Serangoon and were on their way to commit another one at Ang Mo Kio.
