Police said the group had rented the apartment units for two days for the party.
PETALING JAYA: A private drug and sex party to celebrate a doctor’s birthday at two apartment units was busted by police, resulting in the arrest of 35 people, including six foreign women believed to be call girls.
According to police, the group had booked the two units for two days until Sunday despite the movement control order (MCO) being in place.
Deputy director of Kuala Lumpur CID Nasri Mansor said those arrested were aged between 21 and 35. They included five Vietnamese, one Thai and two Chinese nationals.
“During our raid, we found the suspects were blasting loud music and partying.

“Investigations found that they had booked the six apartment rooms at RM1,000 per night for two days until Sunday for partying,” he told Berita Harian.
Nasri added that police also seized 20 bottles of beverages, believed to contain drugs, two boxes of condoms, a deck of cards, dice, an audio system device and disco lights.
“All of them will be compounded for breaching MCO rules,” he said.
Police will also investigate the case for alleged prostitution under Section 372B of Penal Code, as well as under the Dangerous Drugs Act, the Immigration Act and the Entertainment (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) Act.
